Overview

The booming growth of electric vehicles across the globe, especially in metropolitan cities, is driving a surge in EV registrations and the availability of diverse models. This rapid adoption is supported by strong investments and active promotion of electric mobility in urban areas.

Key government and private sector initiatives—such as toll reductions for EV users, free parking spaces, attractive purchase incentives, and large-scale investment in EV charging infrastructure—are accelerating EV adoption. As a result, the demand for efficient EV charging management solutions is rising. This case study talks about the key features of EV charging management solutions in detail.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard provides EV charging operators with a complete overview of their operations—covering charging activities, billing, energy use, fleet management, user data, and more—all in one place for efficient control and visibility.

Vendor Status

A circular progress bar shows active and inactive vendors at a glance. It offers a quick visual update without needing extra explanation, helping operators track vendor performance instantly.

Charging Stations

Operators can view the total number of stations and their operational status through circular progress indicators, allowing quick assessment and management of infrastructure.

User Count

Displays the number of EV users on the platform. Regular updates help operators track growth and understand user engagement.

Downloads

This metric reflects the reach of the platform. Visual representations help operators assess promotional performance and set future marketing goals.

Monthly Revenue

The EV charging CMS provides efficient billing and invoice management, allowing operators to track monthly revenue based on transactions, energy consumption, and charging time. This data, along with insights on pricing plans, charging speed, and partner activity, helps operators monitor overall business performance and growth.

Recent Charging Stations

This section provides a summarized view of the latest EV charging stations managed by the operator. The data is organized into three clear columns

Charging Station List

This screen gives the operator a complete view of all active charging stations, showing key details like the number of charging points available, supported connector types, revenue status, and quick actions such as edit or archive. It helps in quickly monitoring and managing multiple stations from a single place.

Charging Point Controls

This screen displays the live status of each charging point, including its availability, power rating, compatibility, and cost per unit. Operators can start or stop charging sessions remotely, unlock connectors, and even reset or reconfigure the point when needed. It also enables sending real-time updates and managing multiple charging points with ease.

General Info – Station Setup

This section allows the operator to enter and update essential details of a charging station, including name, address, contact info, operating hours, and exact location on the map. It simplifies the setup process and ensures accurate station information before it goes live.

Contribute – Request & Approval Management

This section lets the operator manage all contributor requests efficiently. It displays a clear list of users requesting to add or manage a charging station, including their name, contact, and station details. Admins can quickly review or delete requests, keeping control centralized and easy to navigate.

Vendors – Manage Your Vendor Network

The Vendors section offers a centralized view of all registered vendors along with their current status—active or inactive. Each entry displays the vendor name, admin email, and action options. Admins can view more info or archive a vendor when needed, making it easy to manage vendor relationships efficiently.
